Nuestra Yamada Yu formó parte de la presentación de la nueva línea de Bratopos de UNIQLO. Durante la presentación surgió el tema de su reciente separación del actor Oguri Shun al cual ella solo respondio un escueto "Esta bien".
Cuando luego le preguntaron “Whether the topic of Mr.Oguri becomes 'Shun'?” que tiene doble sentido ya que “Shun” significa regañar. La pregunta podría significar “Cuando Mr Oguri se convIrtió en “Shun?” –cuando empezaron a intimar- o también podría ser “Regaño a Mr Oguri por este tema?”. Yamada Yu respondió con una sonrisa “Lo duda usted?”.
En cuanto a la repentina noticia en los medios de comunicación acerca de su ruptura con Oguri y de que viven separados, ella respondió cuando le preguntaron sobre ello: "Sí, no se como sería vivir con esa persona", refiriéndose evidentemente con "esa persona" a Oguri.
Por otro lado que prefería "como para desafiar un montón de cosas, ya que el verano ha llegado", mirando positivamente por delante.
Sober la propia presentación dijo que los Bratos son perfectos y realmente comodos, ideales para cualquier cita. Dijo que pensaba llevarlos en su próximo viaje a Okinawa, le preguntaron donde exactamente era el viaje aunque ella no lo especificó, seguramente porque será donde querrá pasar el verano lo más tranquilamente posible.
